1. Worum geht’s und wer bietet das an?
Diese AGB gelten, wenn du unsere Apps „Learn Tarot Cards” und „Marie” (im Google Play Store: „Lenormand: Kartenlegen lernen”) nutzt (jeweils eine Android-App, aktuell keine iOS-Version). Zu „Learn Tarot Cards” gehört der Claire-Bereich, der technisch über eine eingebundene Web-Anwendung läuft; „Marie” gibt es zusätzlich als Web-App unter marie.valaros.com. Sie gelten außerdem, wenn du die Websites tarot-secret.com und valaros.com nutzt oder dort etwas kaufst. Anbieterin ist die Lumexia Ltd. & Co KG, Rochusstraße 273, 53123 Bonn (siehe Impressum).
2. Was sind unsere Apps und Websites — und was nicht?
Die App „Learn Tarot Cards” bietet dir Tarot-Legungen, Kartenbedeutungen, Kurse und eine KI-gestützte Deutung durch Claire. Die App „Marie” bietet dir Legungen mit Lenormand-, Kipper- und Zigeunerkarten sowie Krafttiere und Engelszahlen, Kartenbedeutungen, Kurse, ein Quiz und eine KI-gestützte Deutung durch Marie. Die Websites valaros.com und tarot-secret.com bieten Informationen, Kartenbedeutungen und ein Lese-Widget. Das Ganze dient deiner persönlichen Weiterentwicklung, Inspiration und Unterhaltung. Es ist ausdrücklich keine Wahrsagerei, Zukunftsvorhersage oder medizinische, rechtliche, finanzielle oder therapeutische Beratung.
3. Dein Konto
Für gespeicherte Legungen, Premium und die Nutzung auf mehreren Geräten brauchst du ein Konto — entweder mit E-Mail-Adresse und Passwort oder über dein Google-Konto. Bitte gib dabei wahre Angaben an und halte deine Zugangsdaten geheim.
4. Preise, Premium und digitale Produkte
Die Grundfunktionen der App kannst du kostenlos nutzen, allerdings mit einem täglichen Limit. Premium schaltet unbegrenzten Zugang frei. Bei „Marie” ist der erste Kurs komplett kostenlos, bei den weiteren Kursen das erste Kapitel; Premium schaltet alle Kurse, unbegrenzte KI-Deutungen und die tiefen Kartentexte frei.
Premium-Abo über den Google Play Store. Bei „Learn Tarot Cards” kannst du zwischen einem Wochen-, Monats- oder Jahresabo wählen, bei „Marie” zwischen einem Monats- und einem Jahresabo. Neukundinnen und Neukunden können das Marie-Jahresabo 7 Tage kostenlos testen; endet die Testphase, verlängert sich das Abo automatisch zum angezeigten Jahrespreis, wenn du nicht vorher in Google Play kündigst. Das Abo verlängert sich automatisch um die gewählte Laufzeit, bis du es kündigst. Kündigung und Verwaltung erfolgen direkt über den Google Play Store bzw. dein Google-Konto; dort findest du auch die jeweils aktuellen Preise. Eine Preisänderung kündigt Google dir vorher an; nutzt du die App nach einer Preisänderung weiter, gilt der neue Preis. Kündigst du dein Abo, bleibt es bis zum Ende der bereits bezahlten Laufzeit aktiv — eine anteilige Rückerstattung für die laufende Periode gibt es nicht. Nach einem Gerätewechsel kannst du deine Käufe über „Käufe wiederherstellen” in den Einstellungen erneut mit deinem Konto verknüpfen. Marie Premium gehört zu deinem Marie-Konto: Meldest du dich mit demselben Konto an, gilt es in der App und auf marie.valaros.com; ein Kauf ohne Konto gilt nur auf dem Gerät bzw. mit dem Google-Konto, mit dem du ihn gemacht hast.
E-Books und Hörbücher. Über unseren WooCommerce-Shop kannst du zusätzlich digitale Produkte wie E-Books und Hörbücher als Einmalkauf erwerben. Die Bezahlung läuft über WooPayments (Automattic, in Partnerschaft mit Stripe).
5. Wann bekommst du Zugriff auf Inhalte?
Legungen, Kartendeutungen und Kursinhalte stehen dir sofort nach dem Kauf bzw. der Nutzung zur Verfügung.
6. Was darfst du mit den Inhalten machen?
Du darfst die Inhalte der App für dich persönlich nutzen. Was nicht erlaubt ist: Kartenbilder, Kurstexte oder die Deutungstexte von Claire und Marie gewerblich weiterzuverwenden, zu kopieren oder öffentlich zugänglich zu machen — es sei denn, wir haben dem vorher zugestimmt.
7. Widerrufsrecht
Bei digitalen Inhalten wie unseren — etwa Premium-Freischaltungen, E-Books oder Hörbüchern — erlischt dein gesetzliches Widerrufsrecht, sobald wir mit der Lieferung begonnen haben — aber nur, wenn du vorher ausdrücklich zugestimmt hast, dass wir sofort loslegen dürfen, und du bestätigt hast, dass du damit dein Widerrufsrecht verlierst. Das betrifft nur Käufe über unseren WooCommerce-Shop; Käufe und Abos über den Google Play Store laufen nach Googles eigenen Regeln.
8. Gewährleistung
Es gelten die gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsregeln. Für die inhaltliche Richtigkeit oder „Treffgenauigkeit” von den Deutungsimpulsen von Claire und Marie können wir keine Garantie übernehmen — es handelt sich schließlich um ein Angebot zur Reflexion und Unterhaltung (siehe Punkt 11).
9. Verfügbarkeit der App
Wir geben uns Mühe, dass die App möglichst durchgehend funktioniert, können das aber nicht garantieren — etwa wegen Wartungsarbeiten oder Ausfällen bei unseren Infrastruktur-Anbietern wie Cloudflare oder OpenRouter.
10. Haftung
Bei Vorsatz oder grober Fahrlässigkeit haften wir unbeschränkt, ebenso nach dem Produkthaftungsgesetz. Bei leichter Fahrlässigkeit haften wir nur, wenn eine wesentliche Vertragspflicht verletzt wurde — und dann nur begrenzt auf den Schaden, mit dem man in so einem Fall typischerweise rechnen muss.
11. Keine Wahrsagerei, keine professionelle Beratung
Claire und Marie sagen keine Zukunft voraus und stellen keine Diagnosen. Ihre Deutungen sind als Denkanstoß zur Selbstreflexion gedacht — du selbst stehst im Mittelpunkt, nicht die Karten. Unsere Apps und Websites ersetzen keine medizinische, psychotherapeutische, rechtliche oder finanzielle Beratung. Wende dich bei entsprechenden Anliegen bitte an qualifizierte Fachleute.
12. Deine Legungen und dein Feedback
Deine gespeicherten Legungen und dein freiwilliges Feedback bleiben inhaltlich dir zugeordnet. Wir geben deine gespeicherten Legungen nicht zu eigenen Zwecken an Dritte weiter. Soweit dies zur Erstellung einer KI-Deutung erforderlich ist, werden die dafür notwendigen Inhalte wie in unserer Datenschutzerklärung beschrieben an unsere KI-Dienstleister übermittelt. Für interne Auswertungen, etwa zur Verbesserung der Deutungen von Claire und Marie, nutzen wir ausschließlich anonymisierte, nicht-personenbezogene Daten.
13. Für wen ist die App gedacht?
Unsere Apps und Websites richten sich an Erwachsene.
14. Kündigung und Sperrung
Du kannst dein Konto jederzeit in den Einstellungen löschen. Wir behalten uns vor, Konten bei Missbrauch zu sperren — etwa wenn jemand versucht, das tägliche Nutzungslimit zu umgehen, oder gegen diese AGB verstößt.
15. Online-Streitbeilegung
Die EU-weite Online-Streitbeilegungsplattform der EU-Kommission wurde zum 20. Juli 2025 eingestellt und existiert nicht mehr. An einem Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle nehmen wir nicht teil.
16. Welches Recht gilt?
Es gilt deutsches Recht, das UN-Kaufrecht ist ausgeschlossen. Bist du Verbraucher, gilt das nur, soweit zwingende Schutzregeln deines Wohnsitzlandes nicht entgegenstehen. Gerichtsstand für Kaufleute ist Bonn.
17. Falls eine Klausel unwirksam ist
Sollte einmal eine einzelne Regelung in diesen AGB unwirksam sein, bleibt der Rest davon unberührt.

1. What this covers, and who’s offering it
These Terms apply when you use our apps “Learn Tarot Cards” and “Marie” (in the Google Play Store: “Lenormand: Learn Card Reading”) (each an Android app, no iOS version at this time). Learn Tarot Cards includes the Claire section, which runs on an embedded web application; Marie is also available as a web app at marie.valaros.com. They also apply when you use the websites tarot-secret.com and valaros.com or buy something there. The provider is Lumexia Ltd. & Co KG, Rochusstraße 273, 53123 Bonn, Germany (see Imprint).
2. What our apps and websites are — and aren’t
The app “Learn Tarot Cards” gives you Tarot readings, card meanings, courses, and AI-assisted interpretation from Claire. The app “Marie” gives you readings with Lenormand, Kipper and Fortune cards as well as power animals and angel numbers, card meanings, courses, a quiz, and AI-assisted interpretation from Marie. The websites valaros.com and tarot-secret.com offer information, card meanings and a reading widget. All of this is meant for personal development, inspiration, and entertainment. It is expressly not fortune-telling, predicting the future, or medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.
3. Your account
To save readings, use premium, or use the app across devices, you need an account — either with an email and password, or through your Google account. Please give us accurate information and keep your login details private.
4. Pricing, premium and digital products
You can use the core features for free, with a daily limit. Premium unlocks unlimited access. In “Marie”, the first course is completely free and, for the other courses, the first chapter; premium unlocks all courses, unlimited AI interpretations and the in-depth card texts.
Premium subscription via the Google Play Store. In “Learn Tarot Cards” you can choose a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription; in “Marie” a monthly or a yearly subscription. New customers can try the Marie yearly subscription free for 7 days; when the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the yearly price shown unless you cancel in Google Play beforehand. It renews automatically for the chosen term until you cancel. Cancellation and management happen directly through the Google Play Store or your Google account, where you’ll also find current pricing. Google will notify you in advance of any price change; continuing to use the app after a price change means the new price applies. If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for — there’s no partial refund for the current period. After switching devices, you can relink your purchases to your account using “Restore purchases” in Settings. Marie Premium belongs to your Marie account: if you sign in with the same account it applies in the app and on marie.valaros.com; a purchase made without an account applies only on the device and Google account you made it with.
eBooks and audiobooks. Through our WooCommerce shop, you can also buy digital products like eBooks and audiobooks as one-time purchases. Payment there runs through WooPayments (Automattic, in partnership with Stripe).
5. When you get access to content
Readings, card interpretations, and course content are available to you immediately after purchase or use.
6. What you can do with the content
You can use the app’s content for yourself. What’s not allowed: reusing card images, course texts, or the interpretation texts of Claire and Marie commercially, copying them, or making them publicly available — unless we’ve agreed to it beforehand.
7. Right of withdrawal
For digital content like ours — such as premium unlocks, eBooks, or audiobooks — your statutory right of withdrawal ends once we’ve started delivering it — but only if you’ve explicitly agreed beforehand that we can start right away, and you’ve confirmed you understand this means giving up that right. This only applies to purchases through our WooCommerce shop; purchases and subscriptions through the Google Play Store follow Google’s own rules.
8. Warranty
The usual statutory warranty rules apply. We can’t guarantee the accuracy or “correctness” of the interpretive impulses from Claire and Marie — this is, after all, an offering for reflection and entertainment (see Section 11).
9. App availability
We do our best to keep the app running smoothly, but can’t guarantee it — for example, due to maintenance or outages at infrastructure providers like Cloudflare or OpenRouter.
10. Liability
We’re fully liable for intent or gross negligence, and under product liability law. For minor negligence, we’re only liable if we’ve breached a core obligation of the contract — and even then, only for damage that’s typically foreseeable in a case like this.
11. No fortune-telling, no professional advice
Claire and Marie don’t predict the future and don’t diagnose anything. Their interpretations are meant as a prompt for self-reflection — you’re at the center, not the cards. Our apps and websites don’t replace medical, psychotherapeutic, legal, or financial advice. For those needs, please talk to a qualified professional.
12. Your readings and feedback
Your saved readings and any voluntary feedback stay attributed to you in substance. We don’t share your saved readings with third parties for our own purposes. Where this is necessary to generate an AI interpretation, the required content is sent to our AI service providers as described in our Privacy Policy. For internal evaluation, such as improving the interpretations of Claire and Marie, we only use anonymized, non-personal data.
13. Who this app is for
Our apps and websites are aimed at adults.
14. Ending your account
You can delete your account any time in Settings. We reserve the right to suspend accounts in cases of misuse — for example, trying to bypass the daily usage limit, or violating these Terms.
15. Online dispute resolution
The EU-wide Online Dispute Resolution platform operated by the European Commission was discontinued as of July 20, 2025, and no longer exists. We don’t take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
16. Which law applies
German law applies, excluding the CISG (UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods). If you’re a consumer, this only applies to the extent that mandatory protections in your home country don’t say otherwise. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is Bonn.
17. If one part of this doesn’t hold up
If a single provision in these Terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies.
